New DQ Rules Announced

The following DQ rules will now apply

5, 6 and 7 Year Olds

No child swimming in the 5, 6, or 7 year old events will be disqualified for any reason. This includes club nights, the Paul Mallon Shield Carnival and Club Championships.

8 and 9 Year Olds

8 and 9 year olds will not be disqualified at club nights, but will be handed a stroke correction form by the referee. Disqualifications will be enforced for these age groups at the Paul Mallon Shield and in Club Championships

10 years and above

Normal disqualifications rules will apply
